It has been used for centuries as a prosperity symbol, and unlike many citrus types, its fruit can stay on the tree for weeks to months, extending the festive feel.
Care Notes
Sunlight ☀️
Loves bright light and enjoys morning or soft direct sun.
The more sun it gets, the better it fruits.
Water 💧
Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry.
Do not let it fully dry out for too long, especially when fruiting.
Humidity 🌬️
Normal humidity is fine, though citrus enjoys slightly higher humidity if possible.
Tip 💬
Place it in the brightest spot you have to maintain fruiting.
If a fruit eventually wrinkles or softens, gently pluck it so new flowers and fruits can form.
